People also know me as the Pink Cockatoo or Leadbeater's
Cockatoo. You can call me what ever you like...as long as you know I am the
prettiest cockatoo around. You find me and my friends hanging around in groups
eating seeds, fruits and nuts. Here are some interesting facts about

I usually live: across the arid interior of
mainland Australia
When I meet a girl I like: I approach
her with my body and crest erect. I bob and flick my head from side to side
excitedly and utter my normal call (also excitedly). She normally responds to
this by ruffing her crest and bobbing the head.

form strong pair bonds and will sit close together when we enjoy each others
