What's the difference between a Crow and a Raven? Not
really sure, but Raven tends to be a bit bigger in size.
So, I am sometimes referred to as Little Crow. I look much
like the Torresian Crow but am a bit smaller and my bill is small and more
proportional to my body. I usually nest in small, loose colonies, building
stick nests lined with mud. You'll know I'm around when you hear me crowing,
"nark-nark-nark-nark." Here are some interesting facts about myself I
thought you might like to know:
Scientists call me: Corvus
bennetti
Real size ranges from: 450mm-480mm in
length
I usually live: throughout Australia, but do prefer
the drier regions
Breeding: season is July to September. I
usually make a large home for my girl, but I must admit it's usually not very
tidy.
