Overview of Misting Sprays

Misting Sprays are a popular and effective way of watering delicate plants or those which thrive on humidity or dampness.

Orchids, bromeliads or other tropical plants love a gentle settling mist.
Delicate petals love misting sprays.
The special Moss Misting Sprayheads operate on high water pressure and produce an extremely fine atomised jet of water which quickly turns into water mist as it hits the air. Fine misting spray.
Misting type sprays are frequently used in greenhouses, hot houses and shadehouses, or in sheltered areas of a garden : - near a wall or fence or under a pergola.

They are easily installed overhead using flexible Polytubing.

From above, the mist can drift into areas not easily reached by direct spray.

Ferns respond particularly well to this environment which imitates their natural habitats : on the forest floor, in secluded gullies or near streams and waterfalls.

In high temperatures, misting sprays will readily be absorbed into the air, increasing humidity which promotes the fast growth associated with rain forests.
Damp dwelling ferns will thrive.
Moss have a range of fittings which makes installing your own Misting Sprays a simple task.

To generate misting you need to have a water pressure of about 200 KPa (30 psi). This is easily achieved by most town water supplies or pressure pump systems.

However it is recommended that you install Misting Sprays on their own dedicated line to maximise the available pressure.
Easily installed overhead.
