Watering Systems : Handy Hints and Installation Guide |
How to Make a Slo-Flo Drip EmitterMoss Slo-Flo is a form of Drip Watering whereby the water drips from a long line of porous hose rather than from a single Drip Emitter. Using short lengths of Slo-Flo hose you can tailor make your own Drip Emitters for use in planters, window boxes, hanging baskets as well as in the garden bed. |

| Take a coil of Moss 5mm Slo-Flo hose and cut off an appropriate
length using secateurs or a sharp knife. Somewhere between 5 and 10 centimetres is usually enough for a pot plant. Increasing the length increases the amount of water applied per minute. |

| Take a Moss Repair Plug and fit it to the end and take a Moss Take-Off Joiner to connect it to a length of 5mm Polytube. | ![]() |
| The result is a neat and effective Drip Emitter which you can
place anywhere in your garden. A 5cm length of Slo-Flo will deliver about 1 cupfull (250ml) in about 3 minutes. |
