How to fit tubing to Moss Multi-fit barbs

A number of Moss products contain fittings with the unique Multi-fit barb, like the example shown here. To attach 13mm (1/2") tubing, just push it over the smaller barb, and fit some Moss Tubing Clamps for a good seal.
However, if you wish to attach 19mm (3/4") tubing you must first cut off the smaller barb. Use a good sharp cutting blade, and locate it in the special groove which runs right around the fitting just below the larger barb.
If you do this correctly, you will have a nice clean finish, ready to fit the tubing. (If you try to cut it at the blended radius on the smaller barb stem you will get a rather ragged cut and restricted water flow.)
